  • DBSA-Boston (formerly known as MDDA-Boston) is a resource for people with affective disorders and their families and friends. We have meetings every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00pm at McLean Hospital (in Belmont, Massachusetts) in the deMarneffe Building cafeteria. Additionally, there are drop-in groups on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm in room 132 in the deMarneffe Building cafeteria.

    This internet-based radio station brings you shows from the creative minds of people in recovery as well as important up to date information that may be of interest to you. Started in 2010 by North Suffolk Mental Health Association, Recovery Radio hopes to inspire its audience by promoting hope and reducing the stigma associated with mental illness. Over the coming months, with the help of the Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community, we will be expanding the amount of programming you hear on this station.   • SafeLink Wireless - LIFELINE/SAFELINK FACT SHEET
    This is a program that gives free cell phone and mins to people that fall into one of the following categories. Only certain Americans are eligible for SafeLink. Eligibility guidelines vary by state but in general individuals qualify if they participate in a public assistance program such as Food Stamps, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), National Free School Lunch, Federal Housing/Section 8 Assistance, or if they do not receive any of these public assistance programs, they may also qualify based on total household gross monthly income. Customers can learn more or apply by calling 1-800-SAFELINK or visiting www.SafeLink.com.
