Karl was a good man with heart.

I met Karl back in 2000 when I first got into recovery.

We began a new meeting which met every Wednesday and it
was successful helping people.

Years later, Karl would talk with me on the phone
about many people, places and things.

Karl grew to become an expert on the human condition.

When he was younger, Karl served in the
United States Navy during Vietnam.

Karl was President of MDDA back when I use to attend.

He also became President of NAMI Boston.

The last time I saw Karl was outside the grocery store in town,
and he offered to give me a lift back home when he saw
me walking with all my food and bundles.

I will miss him dearly.

Thank you Karl for everything.
